Do what you gotta do, man. Not trying to scare ya, but diabetes is the leading cause of irreversible vision loss in my practice. Most of them are Type I (insulin dependent) but they started out Type 2 at one time. It can be dealt with. You just have to own the disease instead of the other way around. Good luck!
