Do not freeze the head. Taxidemist hate that,almost as much as cutting the cape too short, at least the good ones. If it's been in a cooler, get it caped, leave plenty, the taxi will cut off the extra. Get it to the taxi asap. He'll skin it and flesh it asap, much easier than after frozen. When I shoot one worthy of a mount, if the timing works out,I take them to Chris and he capes them himself.
