I figured there would be some genetic differences. I they're all the same what makes the Florida panther endangered and mountain lions, or any other painter like cats not endangered?
Florida panthers(Puma conculor coryi) are a subspecies of cougar(Puma conculor). So there are genetic differences there. Mountain lion, cougar, puma, panther are just all common names for a big tan cat.
