Never seen rubs on large trees and even power poles like I used to see turkey hunting in Shopton/Fitzpatrick area.
That's one area where I would love to own land. Best area I've seen in Alabama. It is such a small area and so private most have never heard of it. I've hunted as good as it gets in Jackson county and it doesn't hold a candle to Fitzpatrick. If someone held a gun to my head and said go kill a booner in Alabama, that is where I'd go. I've never been to Illinois but Fitzpatrick is close enough.
