Mark Richt has only one loosing season in 11 years at UGA 6-7

He's finished 1st in the east 5 of 11 years.

He's finished with 8 wins or more in 10 of 11 seasons.

His record is 106 and 38 at UGA (74% win)

The 11 years prior to his arrival UGA was 86-53 (62% win)

I think he has the best win percentage of any coach at UGA

Why would Richt step down? He has the opportunity to go down as the most successful coach UGA has EVER had. Who would replace him? Saban? Stoops? Chip Kelly? I think UGA fans need to settle down and be glad they aren't in AU, TN, or AR's shoes. I'm not a big UGA fan, but I'm impressed with what he's done there. He has had some incredible talent and lost some games he should've won, but give a little credit where credit is due. Richt is a phenomenal recruiter, good coach, and a very respectable mentor to his players; If I were a UGA fan, I'd pray every night that he stays one more year.
