You don't want to be in Ensley, Fairfield, or Brighton. Or North Birmingham, Tuxedo Junction, Center Point, I could go on. There are islands of decent folk surrounded by animals. The animals are scattered into a lot of older folk who are trapped with them. They don't like them, but they raised them and won't roll over on them. So they kinda get what they deserve.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
