I met a guy recently that installs and repairs septic systems. He stays busy and told me that if a system is put in and used correctly it should never need pumping. He said bad installs keep the pumping fellas in business. BTW, I asked the same question on here since our new house is the first one that I've lived in as an adult with a septic tank. I got the same answer from several on here. Then I got several that said to go ahead and get it pumped so you'll know it won't be a problem soon.


I built my house in 1990. I put in the largest septic system available at the time. Two kids, wife and me. It has never missed a beat and I wont do anything until it needs it. My septic man was my wife cousin and he is the best in the business!


I can't stand a thief.
