I’m a big fan of the ammo box external 12V setup. Works great until a raccoon climbs up and unplugs the cable from the camera. I still run batteries in mine for a backup, but it makes a huge difference Keep batteries in the camera and IF that does happen (I've never had it happen in two years), once the cable is unplugged the batteries in the camera kick on. I'm gonna have to do this. I have one at the house that's down to 10 percent, this will be the 4rh battery change in less than a month
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
