You might be loading for your one 7-08 and he might be loading 13 different cartridges.but going the extra mile will never hurt .I don't want to shove dirty brass in my guns

I don't use range brass but a simple water wash will take care of grit or debris on range brass.

I clean my brass even though it is an extra step and a PITA at times. But it's simply a vanity thing and does NOTHING to improve performance where it counts.
