Great work Tex. Trial and error is a great way to learn, because it’s hands on and mistakes will educate you. When hunting alone, gutting a deer or hog is always best if you’re not going to pack it out. I like to drag using my climbing harness. That way I can lean in and pull. A four wheeler for deer retrieval maybe in your future. Keep hunting and keep learning. BTW, the meat should be fine.
