Counted 8-10 poults on our property in Dallas county this weekend. They seemed to be pretty small for this time of year that far south
Second nesters maybe? Could have just taken this long for a new dominant gobbler to finish his breeding and move over to the new property to breed the hens there. If a dominant bird was killed early in the season where you saw the poults.
