Sorry about your dog, I’ve had 2 get bit by rattlesnakes, both on the nose. The lab almost didn’t make it, her head swelled up really bad. Vet put antibiotics in her and we ran an iv at home. Took her a few days but she made it luckily. My GSP got smoked by a baby rattler when she was about 6 months old. I fed her bacon grease, Benadryl, and gave her some antibiotics I got from tractor supply. She was fine in 2 days. That dog hates snakes with a passion, she hunts them down in our yard/mountain barks like a mad dog and runs to back door barking like crazy until I come out and ask her where it’s at. She’ll run to it and bark like crazy again until I kill it.
