When did Fido become as important as a family member. All of my dogs were great family pets but none of them were worth any one time vet bill over $1000 or much less suing the vet over. Where did anyone say Fido was more important than a family member? What I or anyone else chooses to spend on their pets isn't really anyone else's concern. I tend to like my dogs more than most people I run into on a daily basis.
