I don't know why it won't post an actual pic instead of the link. Looks nice!  When you upload your pic, hold your cursor in the top right hand corner of the pic and you should see "copy link" and then "..." (three dots)......Click on the three dots.....You should have a list of choices and the second one down will say "Get Share Links"......Click on that.......It will bring up another list.....Click on the third one down that says "BBCode (forums).......copy and paste that link directly into your reply and see if that works.....
