TDog93, I was kinda in the same boat last year and decided to give the power powerbelt aerolite 250 grain a try to see how it does in my gun. Still haven't tried it yet so may have to go back to the drawing board if it doesn't work out. I wanted to try the new hornady bore driver but couldn't find them anywhere online or in stores. I needed some bullets this year, and decided to try some Aerolites myself. These come as one piece, with what they call a gas check on the tail end. (Poly) These load great. Even after a couple shots. The bullet itself is supposed to be .001 smaller than the barrel. It is also longer and made of alloy. Lets see if I can bury one in the ribs of a Kansas buck next week. That's what really counts. I kept enough old Hornady's to get by if the Powerbelts wouldn't fly. Still early, but they did OK. Power belts fly straight in my knight and hit like Thor’s Hammer. I’ve killed a good many deer with them. I don’t always get a pass through, but I don’t mind because the deer seems to have to absorb all the energy when that happens. I'll forego a pass through for watching them drop any day.
