Toyota Sequoia pulling a SeaRay 270 Sundancer w/ Twin 4.3’s (7500lbs dry and she had 100gal fuel and 40gal of fresh water in the tanks) on a short skinny gravel covered concrete ramp behind Old Lakeside Marina with a 90deg turn at the top of the ramp 40ft from the water’s edge. As soon as the rear of the trailer got on the downhill slope of the ramp the trailer started dragging the Sequoia sideways down the ramp at Mach7. Helluva ride. New boat, new truck, pregnant wife, 2 dogs. and forty-eleven witnesses. 1000 wonders that sequoia stopped before she hit the water. THEN I had to swim for the f’n Sea Ray because nobody was on it and I had already unhooked it from the trailer winch. I just wanted to line it up straight on the ramp so wife could back me in drama free....yeah right.
