That was no mirage. It takes more than an acre of beans per 1000 acres of mud to do any good and with "booked" bushels there aren't many farmers willing to leave any, due to fear of missing their "book" by degraded harvest...most are (or think) they are too close to the amount booked to be shorted on quality or trash.
