Depends on critter, caliber, weight, and TTSX.....except for some specific uses/cases/ weights....Barnes is overkill for deer in anything over 243,...JMO. Cup and core is plenty. I’ve yet to catch an accubond in a deer, anyway. ....but a .308 130 TTSX at over 3k is great for threading needles through treetops, and the 30-30 150 TSX thinks it’s a 300 WM. I've got some 130 ttsx loaded in 30-06. I don't have a chrono, but if be interested in how fast the are moving. I killed a ~120lb doe last year @ 40-45 yards and the exit was the same size as the entrance, about .308". She didn't take a step, only moved about 5 ft sideways and down. I wonder if the -06 is pushing them fast enough to break the pedals off?
