To me, The biggest takeaway since the announcement is when Harsin made this statement... “The only Job in the country I would even consider leaving Boise for is Auburn”. Really?? Hopefully this is just coaching BS and not this guys persona. Does he actually think anybody believes a guy from Idaho who has never been to Auburn would think this is the only Job he would consider? I believe AU is a top 10-15 job nationally but don't kidd yourself, this guy would have said the exact same thing for a top 5 gig making millions. Not even Gus sucked up to this level. If he starts his tenure at AU spewing this, it could make for a interesting couple years for the family. I don’t know what his motivation is and neither do you. Maybe it’s $$$. Maybe it’s the challenge. Maybe it’s combo of these and more. What I do know, for a fact, is he has been to Auburn before.
