What's funny about this is it took a riot and looting in the most expensive part of town to get any response from the Chief and Mayor. Not even 12 shootings in a weekend warranted a 23 minute news conference. I'll wager that some uppity politicians and other wealthy locals are business owners in that area and they had their stores looted and raised all manner of Hell all night and all day today. The phone in the Beetlejuice home rang continuously until she gathered her minions and scheduled the presser.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
