Was at Thanksgiving before we ate and had to run get something and an inlaw wanted to ride with me. Saw my AR in the back seat. Started telling me about being a sniper in the Marines. Told me they gave him his M16 when he got out. Told me about another AR he had just got. I asked him what caliber it was. He did not know. A couple more questions confirmed he was FOS. I know two that for sure were. Yep they don't talk about it. I don't know your in law, but just because someone's military doesn't qualify them as firearms expert, i know one guy that still doesn't know the difference between a 45ACP & 45Colt and the other always fks up and buys 38 special ammo for his 380 🤦♂️🤣 My BNL is on year 19 and the first thing he does before making a firearm purchase is call me 😉
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!
