A buddy of mine that use to do some trapping had a 55 ga drum that he had about half full of fish and whole chickens. He would cap it off to keep the maggots out and let it rot. Man that stuff was deadly on the fox and yotes. It would also cause you to see last weeks breakfast so I don't know why he worried about the maggots. Sounds like some gator bait.
