The washing machine thread got me thinking. How many years have you had your oldest household appliance? Saturday will be 26 years for our washing machine. Easy to remember as it was a wedding gift. Kenmore from Sears with no bells or whistles. It has survived two daughters and a lightening strike.
Probably jinxed myself now, but that $500 pair was money well spent. Don't expect that from a Kenmore again. The stuff they put out now is crap. I guess they weighed selling good appliances that lasted for years vs. putting out crap and crap won. No doubt and dryer died long ago. Have had 3 dryers since then. 7 years if you are lucky.
