A friend of mine, against my best advice bought an Anderson AM 15. It was against my advice because he is a civilian and has no business with a military grade rifle even though he bought it with no intentions of shooting a person even if it was in self defense. It is purely a pig shooting gun. To be clear, he's a friend but I can't recall his name.

Now that the qualifier is out of the way, the problem is that I have no experience whatsoever in these horrible assault rifles. Anyways, it came with a picatinny rail built on the rifle. I'm trying to mount a Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot on it. It mounts fine but the dot is too high and out of the scopes sight when held to my shoulder in a normal position. I can't lower the dot with the adjustments to bring it into my sight line.

It seems as if I need to raise the back of the rail but there is no way to do that since it was built on the scope. Anyone that knows about evil rifles have any ideas?

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
