Daddy told me one time that he met an old man up there claimin to have killed one of the original restock deer they brought in at skyline..said it had an aluminum tag in its ear an weighed like 300lbs and had an 18pt rack an was like 15 years old..or somethin...we never bought into the tale much...but several folks claimed to see the deer...thats one of many small rumor type legends ive heard come out of ol high jackson....rekin that has a connection to game check numbers
