I bought an HD8 EPS a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I didn't like the Polaris, tried hard to like the Honda (didn't fit me well) but loved the Can Am. I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up, but I don't plan to be hard on it anyway. I just put around and will hunt off of it.
I don't know who has the best deals around. I do know the place I bought it in Al was 2-3k cheaper than the Central Fl dealerships I priced them at. What didn’t you like about the Honda? Went to look at the 700, as it was closer to what I wanted to spend. I'm a big boy, and my knees were touching the dash. I sat in the 1000, and it was better, but still a little tight. I also didn't like the angle the seats set at. I'm sure, being a Honda, It's a great machine, but I just didn't like the way it fit me. The Defender has ample room everywhere.
May the sound of hounds never die!
