Help. I know nothing about pellet other than requires electric. Why do you guys even like pellet grills? I’m just curious as I understand you need electric for them. Doesn’t seem like something practical you can use without power during a hurricane like a propane or charcoal grill because it has to be plugged into electric. So that being said, what’s the advantage? People must like them for some reason. Why are they so popular? Thanks. The big thing is that you get a very even and consistent smoke, and temp control is as easy as setting it where you want it. It is very nice to set your smoker at 225 degrees, or whatever you want, and be able to leave and go do other things and not have to be there to check the grill every 45 minutes.
