GomerJr's baseball league has been given the green light to resume practices as of this week, with their 2nd practice scheduled for yesterday evening. The league board met directly with the Mayor and Police Chief who agreed that practice should resume. The stipulations were that only coaches were on the field, parents would wait in cars. Players would be split into small groups of no more than 6 and "maintain social distancing".

Everyone was 100% following by the guidelines, but "a concerned citizen" apparently drove by the ballpark, saw the practice and called the police. A police officer showed up and shut everyone down and made them leave, despite the coaches explaining to the officer that his mayor and police chief directly approved the practices resuming.

Apparently the board met, again, with the mayor and police chief this morning who confirmed we could practice and said they would try to make sure their officers were on the same page.
