Was the military draft government overreach? I am not trying to equate these two things at all. I am just pointing out that in times of crisis the government can overrule your personal freedoms. The debate with this is how much is too much? Too many are trying to reduce this to a yes/no debate when it is not. There are many shades of gray between a totalitarian system and anarchy.
