Anyone here personally know anyone who has contracted this crap? I know a lot of people and so far I have only found folks that have “heard of” someone that got it. No proof and no follow-up. Not looking for names of infected people. Just a yes or no will do.
I’ll start with a NO. I know of two people who have it. One was at a big event in Birmingham earlier this month and said it's the worst thing he's ever had. He still is getting over it. The other found out today and has diminished respiratory capacity, fever, body aches and no sense of taste or smell. I know of another awaiting test results. Prayers sent for the ones you know that are affected. Please everyone be smart and don’t blow this off as flue or allergies. The bottom line on this one is that it ain’t just about YOU getting it. It’s hyper contagious and deadly to a lot of people.
