My daughter was delivered premature due to SVTs she was 2months preemie and her heart rate when she was born was 340bpm!!! it wasnt pumping it was quivering. She stayed in the NICu for 52 days they shocked her a couple times to get it back in normal rhythm. adenosine and digoxin were the meds she was on there and they swapped her to flecanide and now she is home and doing fine with 3 doses of flec a day. Scary stuff. But like someone said try and vagle yourself, sometimes that can shock the heart into rhythm. Even dunking your head into ice water or ice packs on your face can help. But holding your breath and straining can help.

It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.
