If no blood there's really no tracking. Do a grid search OR big circles and see what ya find. Sounds like ya hit low with the white hair found. After a week or so look/listen for birds Why is that? If it’s fatally hit, a good dog can find it without blood Was telling OP to do a grid search since there's no blood since he mentioned tracking. A dog trails the deer, not track it...
