9mm cases taper on the inside. 147's seat deeper than other bullets. Those cases apparently have sharper taper than other cases. Because of this taper those 3 cases have a ridge on the outside of the brass at the base of the bullet. The ridge is concentric and consistent.

The other cases also have the ridge, but it doesn't keep the cases from chambering.

The ridge on Aguila measures 0.391, CBC 0.390, and S&B 0.388. Some of the Aguila actually has what looks like a cannelure on the outside of the brass. I assume it's where it was crimped from the factory.

Win measures 0.386 and works. FC, PMC, Speer, Geco, R-P all work fine

I made 10 different measurements on 9 different headstamps, before and after sizing, seating, and crimping trying to figure out the issue.

I posted about this issue on 2 other forums and my results were consistent with other's experience. There's not a lot of documentation out there concerning this issue, but there is some.
