Hunting a new place entirely with completely different terrain. Nothing but dang pine trees in Autauga county it seems. Shorter ranges. Carrying nothing with more than 2.5X on the low end optics wise. Setup a little Model Seven in 223 as a doe buster with a Leupold 2-7 on it. What u gonna do if a 250lb buck steps out out 200 yards? 😁 For the op question I haven't bought anything in 5 years besides scent killer and broadheads that I remember Make sure I’m on the right land still if I can see 200. Ha. No, I am looking forward to finally justifying my Steyr Scout after these years.
