should the dcnr outlaw shooting yearlings and put, say a 100lb weight limit on deer?
personally i dont agree with shooting either one, but there really isnt much difference between a spotted fawn and one that lost his spots a month prior. Neither one is worth the time and effort, but thats just me.
Spots should be left alone once they get a little bigger I see no problem in places to shot them . Here where I hunt they just become another mouth in places ever fawn is needed.
As season goes by if I'm see a lot of yearling deer I'll kill one or two . I don't I won't. When I hunt other places I only shoot grown deer
Other than a few pounds and the color of it's coat, what's the practical difference in shooting a spotted fawn in October, or the same deer without spots in December?
