Nothing like good old post loss smack talk.
For years I've always heard the bammers say the second best team in the country, SEC, or State (take your pick, I've heard all three) was bammer's second string. I guess we can put that rumor to rest. Some years it is, some years it is not. If you will go back through most of the old posts on here from this season, the Bama fans were saying after the first couple games that this was not the team and certainly not the championship caliber teams they have fielded in the past. Nobody made the second string comment a single time in this forum this year, that I am aware of. If they did, they were delusional. Defense was sub-par and the offense could not establish a smash mouth running game to compliment the pass. To be honest, without the easy schedule, Bama probably wouldve lost at least one other game and been 9-3 like AU.
