About 10 years old I think. Dog drive standing with my father. 20 gauge with number 3 buckshot. I can still see that doe in my minds eye jumping over a brush top. I shot her once as she crossed to the right of us and she ran about another 40 yards and dropped. I remember we counted 9 pellet holes in her right shoulder and rib cage when we dressed her later.
