How the heck is that even a poll, then? One of the glorious things about numbers is you can manipulate them to say whatever you want to say, and most people don't have the common sense or care to realize they are not factual. Years ago at this company where I was working I questioned a quarterly report on profit and loss. Being the department general manager plus my commission was based upon this report I ran my own numbers and I knew that there was some funny math to skew the numbers from corporate office. So I called my boss, the vice president of the company to talk to him about it and I'll never forget what he told me. He said," liars make good accountants and accountants make good liars." No offense to any of you accountants on here but I thought that was a pretty good analysis of what was going on.
