Well, there’s not really a whole lot of story to this one….It turned out to be one of the easy ones….I take the good with the bad so I won’t complain when we get a “gimme putt”. The buck had only made it 75 yards past where they lost blood. Might have taken 5 minutes to find it….Deer went approx. 230 yards. There wasn’t a whole lot of blood but plenty enough for the dogs to pick up on. It was funny because the dogs covered the first 150 yards in a matter of like 1-2 minutes and the hunter said….”Dang, it took us an hour to get to this point!”
