Ooops I actually forgot to write up a little story from yesterday….There wasn’t really much to tell though. It was another run of the mill shoulder shot that someone wanted checked. We took it a good ways until everyone was satisfied that the deer was likely ok. It was one of those situations where they just wanted to make sure.
Another call just came in for tomorrow morning. Hunter got a pass through and thought he had made a good hit except for thinking that the deer might have ducked a little and caused him to hit high. Arrow passed through but didn’t have a ton of blood on it. They tracked it for 170 yards before the blood petered out. We’ll have to wait and get more details on this one in the morning. I’ve seen them hit high and live so its 50/50 on whether we have a dead deer. It’s supposed to be a pretty good one they said.
