For me it was hunting what used to be the La Floresta Perdida WMA in FL. We had a camp on a 40 acre piece right in the middle of it. When the WMA was leased out to hunting clubs, we got the 5,000 acres surrounding the camp. So many good memories from there I can't even count them. I killed 6 good bucks out of one tree in one season there, including what is still my personal best bow killed buck, 2 with a muzzleloader, 2 with a rifle, and 1 with a shotgun after my rifle was stolen. My buddies joked that every time they would hear me pull into the camp, they knew they were about to hear the tailgate drop. But, it eventually turned into something I didn't care for, as all hunting clubs have for me. But those early years will never be topped for me. Those were the good ol days.
