Mavis manager recommends Nitto's for my next set when ready of course shop owners/managers recommend Nitto's........they're like $1500+ for a set of average size 1/2 ton truck tires... I don't know what size you priced but you can get 4 285/70r17 nitto trail graperss for about half that. I just had to replace one that got cut and blew out and I paid 187 plus tax from walmart.com. $15 bucks for mounting and balance. With that said, I had one get a knot or bubble in it a few months ago and had to replace it too. I bought this truck used with the tires on it so I don't know how old they are but I have had it 3 years and they were about worn out anyway. When I bought my Falkens, they were $890ish out the door. Same size Nittos and Toyos were $1400-1500. And everyone in town was pretty equally priced Those higher prices are for LT rated tires, not P rated tires.
