My uncle taught me how to shoot a sling shot, then a bb gun (nothing was safe on the property) then a 410 as a child. I enjoyed shooting, always have. I did not get into deer hunting until 5 years ago. Learning a lot but lack the knowledge most on here have. My oldest hated hunting. My youngest has come a couple of times but lacked interest. This year he has talked and talked about going to the family land and hunt. After many conversations I learned he wants to spend time with the men in his life (Dad uncle and granddad) vs actually hunting. I think we fast forward our kids into preteen/adulthood activities too fast. Kid needs to be a kid.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
