I got back on fb a while back, and follow some of theme deer hunting fb things myself. Is it just me or do people start there kids off at like 4 years old now killing deer???? What ever happened to learning how to shoot a .22 then going squirrel hunting? I’m all for kids hunting, but 5-6 year old seems young to me. I learned how to rabbit and squirrel hunt before i learned how to deer hunt. And the small game hunting taught me a lot about deer hunting and woods and gun safety. I was 12 when I killed my first deer, and was hunting by myself then as well.
