Good cold spell would be nice so we could pack out any meat we don't eat at camp.
Suggestions?
Thoughts on these?:
Skyline WMA/Walls of Jericho? Bankhead/Sipsey Wilderness ? Talladega National Forest? You need to head North of Alabama of any "cold spell" unless you are on "stand-by" to the latest local weather report in Jan. Maybe try WV the 2nd - 3rd week of Nov in Logan or Mingo counties (southern end) . https://www.mapwv.gov/huntfish/map/?v=hunt Those counties and Boone and Wyoming have been bow-only since the 70's IIRC. You might also get a glimpse at an Elk.
