I think it is pretty cool how Marty Stewart had a crush on Connie Smith when he was a 12 year old boy and then 25 years later he married her.

They are still married today even though there is a 17 year difference in their ages.

If you go to the Country Hall of Fame, about half of the artifacts there are on loan from Marty Stuart. He has amassed quite the collection of memorabilia. He owns and regularly plays Clarence White's (Kentucky Colonels and The Byrds fame) original B bender telecaster he and Gene Parsons created so he could play pedal steel licks on a guitar. Years after he got it he took it in to get it refreshed and when they took the pickguard off they found a small sheet of paper that testing confirmed was almost pure acid!
