With this dry weather i'm a little nervous about putting the normal amount of fertilizer in with my planting this weekend. I'd go ahead and put the fertilizer out when planting, there shouldn't be a problem with trip 17 burning anything if that's what you're worried about. Wait until about mid December before you hit it with more nitrogen and you'll be golden for the rest of the season. I would also recommend soil testing
