I’m pretty sure that’s not the case anymore. I have a nephew at AU as a freshman and I think I remember him saying a 26 or 27 was required for acceptance. And yes a 30+ will get at least most of your tuition paid for at most colleges in state.

I would presume with the competition that more is better and your score will be weighed against the other incoming freshmen and/or "other" factors.
I don't see anywhere on Auburn's website where they directly address it.


My nephew is in “Building Science” so it may be a requirement for that particular program.
