What ACT score do you need for Auburn? Average ACT: 27 The 25th percentile ACT score is 24, and the 75th percentile ACT score is 30. In other words, a 24 places you below average, while a 30 will move you up to above average. There's no absolute ACT requirement at Auburn, but they really want to see at least a 24 to have a chance at being considered. I’m pretty sure that’s not the case anymore. I have a nephew at AU as a freshman and I think I remember him saying a 26 or 27 was required for acceptance. And yes a 30+ will get at least most of your tuition paid for at most colleges in state. "There's no absolute ACT requirement at Auburn, but they really want to see at least a 24 to have a CHANCE at being considered." I would presume with the competition that more is better and your score will be weighed against the other incoming freshmen and/or "other" factors. I don't see anywhere on Auburn's website where they directly address it. My nephew is in “Building Science” so it may be a requirement for that particular program.
