Worked for me. Does a kid need a HIP stamp? If he/she is hunting migratory birds, yes. Doesn't matter their age, they must have one. I got mine on the app. It would not give me the option for my son I'm pretty sure a kid doesn't need one. Bought my license on the Outdoor Alabama app and got everything I needed including the HIP. Also got my son’s HELP number on his Outdoor Alabama app, and it didn’t give the option of a HIP survey for him. I’m assuming this is because of his age. I was always under the impression that everyone had to do it for migratory birds, but maybe I was wrong.
