Actually, October is the driest month of the year in Alabama. I'm doubting that. I would need to see statistics. In my opinion the driest month is typically June or July. But either way, September is too early for food plots. October is the best time to plant. No question. In NE Bama September and October are the driest months , I'm confident records will back it up.
